Deep pink in colour, this is an incredibly vibrant rose with an enchanting perfume of red fruit and violets. The palate is packed with cherries and a wonderful ironstone character that reflects the ferrous soils of this special site.

Our thoughts

Though made and categorised as a rosé, with brief skin contact and then run off the skins like a white wine, its generous fruit and structure mean this is closer in style to a light red. Aromatic and pure, via wild yeasts and no oak treatment, the singing cherry fruit is redolent of pure Sangiovese as it used to be. Even better lightly chilled.
