Alfred Gratien's 2016 vintage Champagne is drinking beautifully now, with rich brioche, buttered toast and flint aromas supported by an elegant fruit profile of ripe lemon, grapefruit and green apple. The very fine bubbles that lift the initial perfume are not aggressive, and the finish is soft and long. So good, it was voted a Wine Champion for 2023.
